DADAMAN pt.3
Introducing our new heroine of sorts, Dr. Jeraukov. I had always wanted to keep ‘heroic’ types out of SCAPULA (you’ll notice a distinct abscence of caped vigilantes fighting for Truth, Justice, and yada yada), since this series isn’t so much about Good vs Evil…just Winners vs Losers (which is actually what most action comics are about). Of course, the police that have appeared so far aren’t exactly ‘heroic’, either.
Webmaster Homer Lin makes a cameo in today’s comic, but I’ll let you find him yourself.
Give yourself a cookie if you can guess which movie is about to get lampooned next Sunday!
Hahaha – love the paddle-ball thing in the first panel (inspiration here for some real entertainment the next time my wife is watching Project Runway)!
Might come back to haunt me, though (she’ll probably do the same the next time I watch Silence of the Lambs)! 🙂
Hey, there nothing kinkier than a good paddling…paddle-balling that is!
Silence of the Lambs? Hmmmm…what brought that up?
Hahaha! Love that cop in the first panel who’s scoping out the flexible dead chick. I knew there were perks to police work. Heh-heh…
Hmm cookie .. When I see the last two panels The movie 13 Ghosts comes to mind. Ha ha I love it , I would love to see a runway model goof up on the run way probably lack of oxygen from not eating 🙂
I totally had the same silence of the lambs vision…. brilliant as always!
Is it UP?
Hahaha, FANTASTIC page!
@ George If you watch any number of crime shows (Law & Order, CSI, or my personal favorite, NCIS), you’ll know that most murder victims are hot models. Whether this is to boost ratings or to promote the slaughter of models is up for debate.
@ Midwest Mommy Glad to have you back! Do you mean the old ‘13 Ghosts’ movie, with the “headless” lion tamer? That was a knee-slapper.
@ John K Thank you kindly. I’ve taken a cue from the fine serial comics on-line (such as ‘Pointe East’) and have started on an ongoing story…because my brain is too old and stressed to come up with ‘gag-a-day’ comics anymore!
@ John H You know, I never saw that movie…guess I’ll have to look it Up. HAW!
@ Brogan Glad you enjoyed!
