For the unacquainted: The three occasions where Scapula assaulted (or attempted to assault) Dr. Jeraukov were DADAMAN pt.6, SINISTER MONSTER DOOM LEGION pt.14, and MAN OF A THOUSAND FAILURES pt.5.
The Behemoth rampage and Darkevilhelldeath-Man’s kidnap of multiple women occurred over the SINISTER MONSTER DOOM LEGION story arc.
Well, Jeraukov might be telling what, as far as she knows, is the truth, but…
Oh, fairness be hanged by its testicles! Good on the officials for not listening to that whiny, snobbish waste of taxpayer funds. Here’s hoping this story arc features another annoying character done away with (though almost all of them could be described as “annoying” in some way, but you get the idea). Can’t wait to see what Jeraukov has up her sleeve to try and take Scap down. With the new SMDL behind him, it may be the good doctor will need more than a new superhero persona.
All of the characters are annoying?! Treike, you wound me. I try to diversify them, by making some annoying, others obnoxious, a few are irritating, some pesky, and finally you have the nerve-shatteringly awful!
If you side with or against Jeraukov, you have good reasons to do either (or neither, if this cast all deserves to be “offed”!).
There are none so blind as those that will not see. Yes, you bunch of buffons, you are finished. At least, she is finished with you. One of them reminds me of the senior senator from California. Nice overlay projection effect.
Reminds of our spanish-speaker proverb: “No hay peor sordo que el que no quiere oír.”
That translates as “there is no worse deaf than the one that doesn’t whant to hear.”
And, yes, we haven’t seen our good psychiatrist since “the man of a thousand failures” when she vowed to stop Scapula.
Will the great battle come to an epic conclusion? Let’s find out!
Well said, Ol Gui. The politicians aren’t modeled after any real ones in particular, just a vague model of what any political figure looks like in my mind (i.e. stuffy, grouchy, apathetic).
But has the law made a big mistake in underestimating Jeraukov…or Scapula?
Silly Zealot, you get passing grades in both Spanish and History (specifically, Scapula History)!
One chubby heroine coming right up?
Depends on if you think she’s a hero or not, but I’ve tried to give good reason for either.
Welp, that explains why the “only” consequences Scapula has faced for his actions is the occasional shitkicking…
Seriously, Babirus would do a better job than these guys.
Babirus did a pretty good job himself, if we all remember that he was the one piloting the Behemoth (step on the gas, smash this city’s ass!).
While the feds look for terrorists overseas, that stinky hunchback has been eating rats and melting toilets.
I think her super-heroine turn is coming… I can only wonder what her abilities will be!
Hey if you think she’s got the legs for a nice superhero spandex outfit!
I should really do a fan art contest…
Uh-oh…Sounds like somebody’s about to start their own vendetta mission, a la JJJ creating the Scorpion-style?
Heyyyy, all right! Someone knows his Spider-Man (and a reference to the original Ditko-era, to boot!).
We’ll see whether or not Jeraukov is going to whip up a Scorpion or some Spider-Slayers, but she’s sure to have something not-so-nice planned.
I, too, love the projector effect going on. It would be fun to see a super-heroine… spandex… uh… okay.
Oh, come now: women can fantasize about other women, too. Spandex makes anyone woman look great!
…except Linda Tripp, but I doubt she’ll be donning superhero tights any time soon.
I dont blame her for walking out, as I also believe in sock puppets! You don’t go around telling people sock puppets aren’t real! Exit-stage left! …or right…. [grin]
Damn right sock puppets are real! The cast of this comic only knows all-too-well what horrible cotton demons they truly are.
Their flimsy logic aside, I side with the board of directors over there. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I’m the last person that would overlook thousands dead (I’d be laughing until i was hospitalized….. sorry, but it’s a fact), but honestly, an entire task force devoted to a guy who has more or less done nothing since when criminal mobs are running rampant? Sorry doc.
IRL, the US government seems to spend way too much time tracking down reasonably harmless individuals with legally muddled situations rather than cracking open mob cases. There’s a reason most mobsters life long careers full of cash and satisfaction until one of their own blows them away….. they pay their taxes more or less reliably. Just try NOT doing that for a while, and I guarantee you will have a task force on you in no time!
And that means Scapula either pays his taxes or he’s so poor they owe him. Hmmmm…… that’s actually pretty funny!
Taking on white-collar criminals or massive gang organizations can swallow up years and tons of money…but crooks in supervillain suits are probably just written off as “petty weirdos” (and trust me, San Francisco is full of those). I think this board knows where their priorities are, even if they haven’t bothered to double-check their facts.
I’m sure if Scap was the tax-filing type he’d get a nice return every year. Hey, failed robberies might be written off as “business losses”!
The Doctor thinks that Edgar was in control the whole time, and not the robotic sock-puppet? Scap is screwed if she ever gets a hold of him. And not in the way he fantasizes about.
