Like he’d dare. I bet the singing bullfrog would change her croaking pre-tty dang quick if Bombastar ever went alpha-male…Suddenly, she’d be the sobbing mess on the floor screaming she’d done nothing and her brother is a pushy lady-beating brute…happens all the time with women like her.
Imagine if we saw the ‘Bizarro’ versions of them; Bombastar is a cruel, brutal bastard and Mona is a sweet, timid little angel. As for Scapula, well…maybe he’d be Pat Boone?
I’ll happily trade you your sisters for my brothers growing up (my own sisters were tolerable, albeit bratty). God, there’s not enough therapy in the world to cure some things!
I love how Scap gets angry upon being humilated now, rather than being a sad mess like he used to be. I can only imagine what terrible vengeance he’s dreaming of at this moment.
Scap’s luck may not have changed, but it looks like he’s handling the crap outcome just a little better than he used to (he may be a seething mess of anger, but at least he’s composed).
We’ll see if Bombastar follows suit, or keeps on whining.
I never went to the same school as my older sister, but I’d like to imagine she would have beaten up any kids who messed with me…then again, that would have been followed by her beating me up herself!
Hey, grovelling may be the lowest form of self-defense, but it works when you least suspect it. Then you can use a lowdown dirty sneak attack…and if that fails, grovel again. Repeat until killed!
Mona speaks for us all in that last panel.
Hey, maybe now Mona will have some fans in the audience!

I’m suddenly having flash backs to how my sisters and her friends treated me when I was growing up! Excuse me….I need to find a tissue…

Ha-ha! Moral of the story is if you’re going to be a whiny bitch about life nobody’s gonna have sympathy for you. 🙂
That’s the perfect cue as any for a Nelson Muntz “HAW-HAW!”.
At least Scap is maintaining his silence, and not crying. There’s a sort of… dignity to that, though that word doesn’t really describe him anymore.
It’s hard to stoop down to a lower lever of shame when Bombastar’s in the same room, blubbering away!

My big sister used to beat up on my playground bullies!

She got a good look and she still can’t find them? Poor guy.
Can’t find…? Oh, wait. NOW I get it.
Good one, mark!
His groveling may be the only way to defuse this tender situation. I’m keen on finding out what the deal is gonna be.
