I really love the way you write villains with the insecurities, character flaws, and quirks of real people. You’re doing for the supervillain genre what Peter Parker once did for superheroes, I feel.
Thanks, Andrew! The Amazing Spider-Man comics(namely the original Ditko and Lee years) were probably the single biggest inspiration for SCAPULA, so here’s hoping it taught me a few good things about writing lovable and miserable characters!
Keep them puns a-comin’! I really should do a contest someday for who can make the single worst pun (I would probably draw a nondescript comic and let readers comment with their worst pun imaginable).
Would anyone out there be interested? I can throw in a prize or two!
Well, this looks like quite the party to crash. Seems like Babirus really made an impact! And it looks like the guys are about to get a little crowded! Don’t worry, it’s Burning Man, EVERYONE gets stoned eventually!
To quote my Pocket Philosopher, puns are like being punched in the soul by Chuck Norris, only instead of it being bruised, a little bit of it goes away and never comes back……..
Hey, whoa whoa, calm down now! I’ll make a special comic for punning at a later date! Save your energy for then…or use today’s comic as a warm-up practice.
Puns and Chuck Norris: two things the Internet never gets tired of exploiting, no matter how annoying it gets!
Tigadactyl’s face in panel 2 looks like he just laid an egg …
He better hope it was just an egg, otherwise he’s going to have to hose out the inside of that Tigadactyl costume!

It clearly did! Looking forward to see what Scap’s gang will do when they find out he lied too; talk about a bad day for Scap!
Well…… that dosnt look so hot for the guys.
Exept for Toxsick and his good stuff and….you know for Babirus. He´s all fried up by now.
Someone else for the pun train?
No?
Thank God

Oh I am down for that idea. So far down even Babirus his sewer familie wouldn’t be able to follow me down.
…aaaaand…IT BEGINS!
I’ll keep you all posted on the details.

No matter how hard we try. Lady is so gonna beat us all. 😉
Amen! I’m surprised she hasn’t become a villain in this comic yet.
Hey, if you ever want to pattern one after me, I do have a superpower. I can survive getting shot! 5 times in the past 4 years!
It may be time to ride that pteradactyl into the sunset, fellas.
Tigadactyl probably couldn’t carry those chumps. Who knows how he even got them off of his back when they fell on him?
What? Puns, you say?
Barbirus needs puns like he needs a hole in the head.
Oh, wait. Sorry. Too soon?
D’OHHHHHHH! That did it!
Okay, I’ll set up a pun contest soon. Look alive, people!
Easier for us than these poor guys…..
