Babirus may be a mentally-deficient man-child without any real malice, but he certainly likes his meat-and-leather-making activities. Toxsick and Scapula don’t seem to care either way.
Who will be the NEXT punk kid Scap runs into?

Half of the reason for Toxsick’s protective gear is the people he hangs with, I sometimes think.
He really IS a smart fella.
I might sound crazy but I miss the blood and goofiness. Wait, that does sound crazy!
…in this comic or in general? I can’t remember the last time I saw bloody goofiness in my neighborhood (that didn’t involve me, that is).
I’m pretty sure if you look up the word ‘sociopath’ in the dictionary today’s comic will appear. I giggled while reading it.
So we have a nice little reminder that Babirus is, in fact, quite dangerous! It’s nice to see these little touches from time to time. He does get used for comic relief quite a lot, it’s good to see him get back to his yokel cleaver antics once in a while!
If someone has a Wikipedia account and wants to add this cartoon under the entry “sociopath” please do so! Then seen me a screengrab before they take it down.
As for Babirus, it’s hard to tell whether his lack of morals and malice makes him more or less of a threat. I think Anton would pick the former.
I would personally lean towards ‘more’ because it makes him way less predictable than most humans. Even a stone-cold like Toxsick or rage case like Throgor still acts reasonably like a human being (get what they want however they want). Now, Babirus and Tigadactyl? They’re just plain nuts.
I think it’s more just his giddy enthusiasm for the butchering arts.
It’s hard out there for a pimp, ain’t it, Scalp? I suppose he’s learning that there is a lot of headache that comes with being HNIC. It’s not all hard lobster and easy dames.
