Things are going to get bad very fast. It’s Scapula versus Bone China this Sunday, and trust me, it’s not going to be pleasant (but hopefully you’ll still read along)!

I did wonder where that dagger went. Of course Scapula isn’t unarmed, he is no longer that stupid. This is gonna get grisly, but I am gonna love it anyway! Ah, and to think that I once was such an innocent doctor. *coughs* okay, yeah no, I never was. Guess that’s what drew me to Scapula in the first place!
Confronting your issues is often seen as a good way to overcome them. This is not always the case in terms of physical confrontation. In this instance we have an obviously crazed but unskilled woman with a knife preparing to square off against an out of shape but violence-capable man who may (probably) have a gun.
In her case, bad move. Desperation situations are bad. Getting into this situation was simply a line of terrible decisions (and indecisions). She has little skill and that is not a knife meant for fighting….. the guard is too big and awkward to be properly used without training, and it’s just plain too big for proper use without some idea what you would do with it.
In his case, bad move. She could do almost anything and unexpectedness is dangerous. If he has a gun, best to pull it out and use it. Interesting fact, in more than 90% of cases where a situation turns violent and one side has a firearm, they never actually threaten the other party with it. Bad idea, use it to inflict a leg wound if possible or a clean kill if necessary (here, it shouldn’t be so to end the physical conflict, but be wary of last ditch thrown weapons). Also, while focussing on the hostile, be aware of your surroundings as there was a second one and she may have hidden, circled around, or fetched a weapon.
Really, in both of their cases, best if they just go away from each other as neither has anything to gain from this situation but a heap of regrets. Neither can afford to go to the authorities, neither has anything the other wants. Egoism is about the only driving force. Better she skips town, changes her identity, and goes away. Of course dead men tell no tales, but I’m not much for advocating murder. Bodies are downright talkative after all.
Best situation? Avoid criminality, avoid violent encounters, and avoid egotists, and you should never end up in this kind of mess unless you have the worst luck imaginable.
Wow. Glad the times I’ve bumped into my exes never got this awkward.
They opted for blunt objects, usually.
Mmm… I have to read again some stories.
Is she the real Scapula’s love ?
I thought Jemini was : p
Man, his horns are bigger than that knife, and he’s already gored someone nearly to death with them before. I get teh feeling this is gonna leave scars at least on both of ’em. Or maybe he’ll get lucky and Nazz will just happen to have followed him to blow her head off, not that he’d appreciate that.
C’mon Scap, she’s got a point.
Heh.
*Rimshot*
Someone hadda do it!
So you really get the thrust of her argument?
Just shoot the crazy bitch and be done with it. She’s some kinda masochist or just a perpetual loser. Either way Scap’s better off without her and her equally nutty sister.
Very cool that everyone has their opinions on the comic. Sorry if I’m not replying to everyone individually (things is hectic here), but every comment means a lot…yes, even the snarky ones!
