I did not expect this, not at all. I mean, I expected some wise words, but damn! I am not sure if Nazz will take them to heart, but if she stays in the business, in the gang and DO take this to heart, she can become terrifying. When did this comic turn from Dog doo burglars, tyrannical sock puppets and obese men getting squished by dugongs to such a deep and engaging story?! Anyway, I love it, keep it up good sir!
It only took seven or eight years!…and more to come. Whether things get more serious or even sillier is all up in the air, but here’s hoping all of you readers will follow along.
“When I conquer, I do it for my nation. But when I destroy, I do it for myself. It is only now I see how little I have and how much my nation has, but I fear to be jealous in case I destroy that which I conquered.”
Alternately:
“Zombie: Noun. A man who has no emotional vigor left in him and cannot even be roused to seek new sources of inspiration and passion.”
So THAT’S a zombie; here I thought it had something to do with their tanks and their guns and their guns and their bombs in your head in your head they are fighting…oh, forget it.
Great quotes by the way; care to share the sources (for the peanut gallery, that is)?
I can identify with Scap here. Really.
Just as long as readers don’t identify with some of the other characters (if Babirus is your ‘spirit animal’, don’t use my bathroom).
