JEMINI’S COPYCAT COUNTERATTACK pg21
Thank you again to everyone who came out to my recent convention appearances and took a chance on the World’s Worst Villain; whether you’re a new reader or a longtime friend, I hope you’ve been enjoying the books and seeing what’s in store for Scap and the creepy crew.
For those who wish to support these comics and my other artwork, please consider donating to the Patreon page for Scapula Comics; you’ll see the weekly comic posts earlier on (with an in-depth and rambling commentary by yours truly about the making of these stories), along with upcoming projects, exclusive Christie comics, and our ever-popular Drawing Requests (where the stupidest ideas become the most pleasant of cartoons). Your support is always appreciated!
…and if Patreon isn’t your thing, consider grabbing a book!
Self reflection is not one of Jemini’s strong suits, is it? ‘If I make another one of me and give it super powers and colossal size, it’ll absolutely obey me! Because the others that are just like me totally brush me off, so clearly the bigger, more potent one will listen!’ Because control freaks with high levels of ego are the BEST people for co-operation, right?
Right?
One of the lessons we learn in life again and again is that intelligent people don’t always make intelligent decisions, and it looks like even someone with two brains can grossly mishandle delicate situations.
Then again it’s not like Scapula handled things any better, so the lesson is…I dunno, everyone’s an idiot (and in THIS comic, that’s especially true!).
“I’m just not so sure how well this plan was thought through.”
I’m just going to say it, regardless of whether or not people agree: Meet the Robinsons was just as good as, if not better than, The Incredibles.
Argue if you must, but I said it and stand by that statement!
You know, if she were the Jem who’d watched all of those monster movies with Scap, she would have known that this would happen.
Extra credit for the continuity buff (and longtime reader)!
I guess EVERY Jemini should know by now that Scapula’s very presence totally ruins any plan they’ve had, but you are correct that Deviant Jemini would know better than to use monsters (she spent enough time with them to know how stupid and unruly they can be)!
