JEMINI’S COPYCAT COUNTERATTACK pg26
…and so we come to the tear-jerking conclusion: is this the end of the Scapula/Jemini war that’s been raging since 2009? Have we seen the last of Dio Sukuri? Will that multiplying brat ever get a date with Nazz (and will Nazz give a hooey)? The answers to those questions will be answered…now: probably not, probably not, and sorta’.
I hope you have enjoyed ‘Jemini’s Copycat Counterattack‘ and the return to reading comics for free (remember the ol’ webcomic days?). If you would like to show your support, help an artist out, or just get some bonus reading for yourself, there’s two fine ways to do it!
If you haven’t already picked up Scapula: Doubly Dark & Deadly! (either from the Scapula Store, the Kickstarter campaign, or my convention table), give it a peek! It’s currently on sale in the Store section of this site, in a convenient pack with Scapula and the Sinister Monster Doom Legion that also comes with loads of bonus goodies. Pick up some of the finest comic literature to include wiener dogs and killer sock puppets out there!
If you would care to donate to the cause of silliness, feel free to join the Scapula Comics Patreon page; you’ll see exclusive content when you donate for even as little as a buck, including TWO alternate endings to the story you’ve just read coming up in the next couple of weeks (not to mention the ‘adults only’ Christie comics; see the blog post today for more information).
Thank you again to all of the old friends and new readers who followed along for this story; as long as I can keep afloat making comics then I’ll always have something extra ridiculous to show you. Keep haunting this ol’ site…you never know what’s creeping up next!
I think had they started duking it out, Scapula may have had the upper hand. Mira Mira wouldn’t have been able to handle Nazz, and Scapula is a vicious little so and so when he puts his mind to it. So Jemini probably came off better for him walking away!
Imagine how awkward it would have been if Dio had exited the potty only to find them all fighting; now THAT’S a bad cliche comedy ending!
Especially if it was a typical cloud of dust full of fists and faces! lol, the ‘Andy Capp special!’
Now I’m really conflicted!
At first, I was like: “Aw man, Dio’s gone?! I liked them!” -(In much the same way Hypnausea ‘liked’ them. What can I say? Cute. Alternative. Androgynous. My favorite superpower. The only thing I didn’t dig was the yammering manga-speak DeutschLish, and I could even forgive that.)
Then: The return! Apparently massive electro-psionic feedback can’t penetrate potty porcelain. (Good to know!)
Now, their gonna die all over again (and again. and again. etc., ad nauseum, until Jem gets sick of killing them.) Which, again, saddens me, but… that mouth. Perhaps it’s warranted.
Fantastic work on this story! I loved every minute!
Thanks for commenting! It’s actually great to hear that Dio Sukuri found some fans after all (it’s always hit-and-miss as to which characters readers will like) and I’m glad you enjoyed the happy little brat…regardless of their endless talk!
I never heard the phrase “manga-speak DeutschLish” but I’m hard-pressed to think of a better description; I’ve lamented to some of my Patreon backers that Dio was hard to write at times but at least they weren’t, well, TOO annoying.
As for when the little punk returns…hopefully soon, and hopefully everyone will have earplugs!
I honestly wonder how many copies of that kid are left around. Then again, it won’t matter since it’s about to be a thousand more in a few minutes.
And did Scapula just call Jemini double stuff? XD
Scapula and Jemini have been hitting below the belt since their first encounter in these comics, so the “double stuff” line is pretty much par the course for that bastard (then again he had something of a slip earlier in this story by admitting that he’s really into Jemini’s ample frame…the pervert doth protest too much!).
“Scapula and Jemini have been hitting below the belt ”
Quite literally so, if I recall correctly.

Thanks for continuing to make comics, Aidan.
I know that doing a free Internet comic is low on rewards and high on work and aggravation – probably doubly so because you don’t run ads.
I totally would not mind ads if you want to make a little money off your labors, just saying.
Thank you very much for the kind words (and for understanding the struggle!); times have changed, however, and running ads on the website is pretty pointless as most people get their daily comics feeds (and endless ads!) on social media. Project Wonderful went belly up a while back as most of their ‘cross-website’ advertising mold was rendered obsolete by the Facebook age, so having ads (either mine on other sites or others’ here) is no longer useful.
Honestly, that’s not a huge deal for me. I’ve always been much, MUCH happier making revenue from book sales and commissions from fans than I have been making anything from ads, so it’s no real loss. As long as people are still ordering books, backing the Patreon page, or even just spreading the word about my work, Scapula or otherwise, then I’m doing well.
On the bright side, unkillable idiots make for GREAT stress relievers.
As long as there’s an auto-pilot option; I’d like to take the occasional coffee break!
I’m so glad to be reading this comic again. Hopefully I can start donating to Aiden’s Patreon again as well.
So glad to see you’re still around! I shall continue making comics for as long as I can, so feel free to keep watching, either here or on Patreon.
