I like your Dr. Caliban. He reminds me of Mole Man, but with more vigor. I wonder what he’s gonna do with Scap.
I like the little animal critter in your first panel. Always great little touches in your work, sir! MUCH nicer than say … being poked in the eye (*thip thip*)! 🙂
@George He DOES bear a good resemblance to the Mole Man (and even more to Melvin Mole, from Kurtzman’s original MAD comics), although I didn’t intend this…at least not consciously. If I blame my SUBCONSCIOUS, however, I can get away with a lot of plagiarism!
@SpilledInky So glad you appreciate those nice little touches (although the judge told me to avoid ‘nice little touches’ around respectable women of society).
It’s funny about the eye poke; I’ve never, EVER been a fan of the “injury to the eye” motiff which shows up in so much cinema (I even had to get rid of my copy of “Un Chien Andalou” when I just couldn’t handle it anymore…seriously!).
Hahaha, is he singing a weird Hanson cover? 😛
Hanson? HANSON?! Listen, just because he’s brain-dead doesn’t mean he’s STUPID!
judging from that freak’s face, whatever he’s planning to do it’s going to be nice…
Brainwashed by 80s Cyndi Lauper music, we see Scapula’s “True Colors”… 😉
Thanks for checking in, Brilliant Boy! “What’s good enough for you/
Is good enough for me…” DAGNABBIT, Cyndi!
You know, if he sings it right side up it says “Daed si luaP”
HAW! Friggin’ hilarious, David!
Daed si luaP, mih ssim, mih ssim!
My only question is, who is Paul and how do we really know he’s dead?!? o.O
!!TtAaHhWw YyAaSs
Thanks for stopping by, jynksie! Actually, Paul’s still alive (that I know of…I like the Beatles okay, but I never really learned too much about them).
Scapula meets Yoko? Could happen!
He’s got a bad case of Jell-O eye there. No more ultra-violence for ol’ Scaps!
Good to hear from ya, Chris! Funny you mention the old Ultra-V, since his brainwashing operation in last week’s strip was pretty much the Ludovico Technique (for those of you who have never seen “A Clockwork Orange”…well, what’s wrong with you?!)
Viddy well, little droogies!
🙂 There’s a Friday morning smile for you
