Yep, called it. He was getting the fear factor built, now he’s going for the money. 😀 Easier to reap in the cash if people are already piddling themselves as soon as you show up because you’ve built such a fearsome reputation.

By the way, Dada, seems I’ve added a third femme fatale of yours to my favorites, in addition to BC and Mira. Did a sketch of LMM and added it to my gallery, hope you like it. 🙂

(shut up … she’s CLOTHED … tempting as it might be, saving most of my nude sketches for when I have more skill :P)

Awwww, Little Miss looks so happy!

That said, you are correct, sir. Reputation is everything, and now that they’re starting to make a name for themselves it’s time to move on to that sweet, sweet moolah!

This is what I was trying to say back on March 27th by investing money up front to build the fear factor, ie. reputation for violence, so the people would hand over their money more readily. The Fonz never actually had to fight on the show since people would just cave in because of his rep.

That pizza has to gooiest cheese I have ever seen. Great, now I want pizza too.

I think anyone who genuinely wanted to fight the Fonz was so distracted by his ability to jump over diners (and, yes, sharks) that they quickly realized the futility of such a battle and instead clobbered Chachi.

…and I also want pizza. Damn it, Round Table should have paid me for the subliminal (albeit unintentional) advertising!

I thought Throgor joined up because he wanted to get Jemini. So how come, rather than mention her, he just generally asks “Showusha planow?”?

Very good point (and kudos for doing your homework!), but keep in mind Throgor isn’t one for coming up with plans. Perhaps he’s just trusting Scapula to lead them all on the road to fame, fortune, and Jemini booty.

That, or he’s occupied with lunch. Gotta have your priorities in order, y’know!

Dang, dang, dang. Me wants pizza also, as well. Okay let’s go threesies. No anchovies.

Lord knows what Throgor puts on his pizza…aside from the mutilated remains of the pizza delivery guy.

Hm, reputation is useful in a lot of the underworld that I’m familiar with. That having been said, when your reputation starts to bleed upwards, a lot of people begin avoiding you. When you’re known to the public, you become a high profile risk and people like the cops target you when an example needs to be made.

That having been said, in real life our cops are sort of useful and we don’t usually have costumed criminals running around. Go to town, fellas!

Supervillains are a very special class of criminal when you start applying ‘real world’ standards to them. Most every other criminal would try to avoid the public’s attention (unless if you’re a camera-whore celebrity like Al Capone), but as Scap said, these guys are going to thrive off of it.

They wont get many professional associates in the criminal career world, but I don’t think Scapula is looking for any!

Smart move, Scapula. It’s best to just keep striking everywhere. Nothing’s worse than plundering a one-horse town.

      …unless it’s a really rich horse, am I right?

Damned right! That way you don’t have to share it.
