What is Scapula’s master plan? We’ll have to wait until we see him again in August, my friends. Be here this Sunday for another strange development in the Memento Mori storyline before the break!

I can’t wait to see this. Wait, I suppose I have no choice then…… bugger it!
Fear not! There’s still one more comic to go this Sunday, and if this month-long break is like all the others it will be over in a flash! That’s summer vacation for ya.
My summer vacations are always full of work. You know, like criminals and bodyguards, customer service never get a break.
I detect a faint hint of smoke, sweat, fear…and “Vengeance”, by Calvin Klein.
Great way to build suspense for the gap, Sir Casserly.
Scapula’s cologne is from the discount bin at Walgreens…so it’s probably better than Calvin Klein (hey, he’s got no nose).
Enjoy the gap, Andrew! Wait, that didn’t come out right…and neither did THAT!
I honestly cannot tell if he is losing it or getting ready to legiametily bring the thunder.
Lookin forward to this hard!
Maybe a little of Column A, maybe a little of Column B!
Love the shading in the middle panel.
Thankya!
So, how come Scapula doesn’t have a TV Tropes page, anyways?
You’re actually not the first person to ask that, although I didn’t bother to look into the other times. What is it?
It’s a resource where commonly used narrative tools are identified and examples given on a specific topic, game, comic, etc., for the purpose of analysis, information, and general literary commentary. In short all the basic ‘tropes’ used in a given work are figured out and explained as they are used in the work in question. Basically a little rundown of which literary tools get used in a given piece of work or serial so people know why it works or doesn’t, what has been done and how, etc. and it also makes for pretty amusing reading and can be an interesting gateway into the topic since it links up to other relatively similar things, so you can wikiwalk through related things and trip over something new and interesting.
