Looks like the situation has greatly changed since the last time Jemini discussed business with Scapula. But hey, every great performer needs a manager…now let’s see if Jemini will be more of a ‘Shep Gordon’ than a ‘Colonel Parker’.

Its a better deal than he had going a day ago. Half of what the Cabal’s income is probably trumps his previous endeavors on average. Also, he gets breathing room to plot against her too. He should take it. I look forward to him killing one-eye there.

The problem here is, she has a lot of money and so on. But she forgets he’s a control nut. If the situation were reversed she’d be thinking of ways to off him in seconds, what makes her think he’s not going to do the same? And worse for her, his ego is much bigger and constantly battered. If you read between the lines she’s also not proposing partnership, she’s proposing puppetry. You think she’s going to let him do what he wants when he’s controlling half her income? No chance. Pretty standard manipulations here: make the person you need feel like they need you instead.
If I were him, I would have this place blown to hell and back before she got halfway through that calzone. She has the static funds, but he has the income. Rather like saying she controls the reservoir but he owns the dam…… she needs him a heck of a lot more than he needs her!
Lots and lots of different angles to consider this from, and not one of them really completely benefits any single party. Crime very rarely means having a safe and easy option, so all we can bet on for now is that everyone bears watching…even the old waiter delivering the meal. He looks like a real bloodthirsty killer, don’t he?!
Actually he only looks like royally pissed. He has options – namely using the Kabale mob to run her down. But that would take some strategy not just tactics. And Jemini is definately better in both fields. IF a clone gains ALL qualities of the original.
I think the funniest line here is seeing someone prone to tantrums of violence claiming anything even remotely like acting adult. I’d say Jemini needs her head(s) looked at, but she clearly has a poor record with therapists…..
