For new readers who don’t know why there’s two Jeminis, best to jump back and read the Flight Into Horror! story arc. For an explanation as to why the gothy Jemini hates her doppelganger, hop and skip back to the fabricated stories Scapula has filled her heads with. For the history about how duplication works in this comic universe, run and leap waaaaaaay back to Science Fiction Doubles Feature.
For headaches that are caused by all of that explanation, take some aspirin.
Small wording note: I think panel 2, word bubble 2, paragraph 2 should read: The kitchen staff called me when they SAW you were here. You can delete this comment if you like.
EEEEEEEEP….yep, that’s a typo. I shall correct it.
Incidentally, dear readers, you are always free to point out my screw-ups. I’ll never learn if you don’t call me out on it!
For gothy Jemini, other one is the impostor.
Curious to know the reason why Scapula brainwashed the two-headed clone…
Scapula has been romantically interested in Jemini since way back when, even if he would never bring himself to admit it (again). Maybe he’s fulfilling his fantasy or maybe it’s petty revenge, take your pick.
So at what point after separation do clones become viable as truly distinct entities?
Duplicates retain the same personality as their source…except for that one time when a bunch of them disagreed on something and a rumble ensued.
As for distinct personalities, the gothy Jemini is the only one so far who has ever emerged as an individual. Whether that has anything to do with Scapula’s conditioning is up to you to decide.
She avoided arguing with herself for so long, and now here it is!
