Once again, for you new readers who aren’t familiar with the history of Scapula and Bone China, jump back to the tale of how they met, fell for one another, made whoopie, messed things up, and parted ways (of course, that should give you a pretty good idea of what happened).
Today is the sixth year anniversary of the SCAPULA webcomic, which made its on-line debut on November 2nd, 2008. A lot has changed since that first comic posted, and I doubt I would still be doing this now if it had not been for the continuing support of my incredible readers. Thank you all for reading these stories, sharing your thoughts and silly comments, and helping Scapula find a place to belong.
…and as long as we’re on the heartstring-pulling, why not show some support by donating or sharing the SCAPULA KICKSTARTER campaign?
It’s hard keeping a bad ass persona when you’re head over heels.
Especially if it’s Jemini…then it’s heads over heels. Get it? Eh? Eh?
Forget it.
Good time to get back to a computer! Looks like Scapula’s having some problems keeping up a tough (plastic) face with someone who knows him pretty well. Hazards of exes, I suppose, especially ones you are still infatuated with. Still, a nice bit of character building here (and previous).
And of course, to sum up most of this conversation: Aaaaaaaaawwwwkward.
I’m sure everyone right now is quoting aloud the Funnybot from South Park. “Awkwaaaaaard!”
We’ll see who is the more hazardous one in this scenario.
It’s usually the girl. We’re generally better at being catty.
Happy birthday, comic! 😀
Thankya, GBeans! No one came to the party, but that just means I had the cake all to myself.
Monday is the spontaneous sudden and aggressive make-out scene.
…except this comic doesn’t update on Mondays, so Tuesday will just cut to the afterglow. D’ohhhh.
I know. 😀
Happy Burfday Comic! YAAAAAY *FWEEEE!*
Thankya, MariMariMariMariMariMariko! I wouldn’t blow too hard on the party favors, though, since Babirus was the one handing them out!
“…so, lovely weather we’re having.”
“Yeah.”
*awkward cough*
Now I’m expecting the old Monty Python punchline:
“…do you want to come back to my place?”
“…..yeah, all right.”
