That seems to be the end of that, right? Wrong! If you think Scapula is just going to let this one go, you don’t know that ol’ bastard at all! Find out what he’ll do this Sunday.

Woe unto the city.
Woe to the world, the Lord (of Grouchiness) has come.
Ouch… A supervillain scorned!
He’s ready to burn back!
Flippin’ tables, SON!!!
A line from Sanford and Son? Heh heh…”You big dummy!”
I don’t know why exactly, but there is something very Count Orlok about him in the first panel. I feel like I’m just waiting for his shadow to start creeping up a staircase.
Nosferatu is one of my favorite horror films (the original, not the awful Werner Herzog remake; for a debate on those films, hop on over to the old VILLAINS & MONSTERS post on Nosferatu); Graf Orlok himself has inspired numerous bad guys over the years, even ones as recent as Ratatouille.
A very Orlok-esque character has appeared in SCAPULA before, in the form of a bloodsucking lawyer, appropriately enough!
Redheads……. no offense to any in the crowd, but they do tend to cause problems in my experience (Of course I’ve known probably more than a hundred of them…….). I’m kinda looking forward to this.
Incidentally, I applaud Scap getting smarter. When a bartender like Rizz says ‘You should go, or I might have to hurt you’, the proper response is jut this. It preserves your right to drink in that bar, and your armbones. And often, kneecaps.
I think most idiot guys would respond to being dumped in public by picking a fight with some random schmoe (in order to ‘preserve their masculinity’), so yeah, Scap did the smart thing by keeping quiet and leaving. Maybe he IS wising up?
As for the redhead comment….yeah, I can see that. My girlfriend dyes her hair red, so maybe that results in, uh, ‘artificial insanity’. Haw haw!
Plus he knows for a dead-certain fact that Rizz will break his arms if she has to. Not much he can do about it.
That said, I humbly request a Rizz solo story somewhere down the road. 🙂
I’ll be digging out my first aid kit to staple you back together when she hears that hun.
I think Scap’s on his way to key a few cars in the parking lot. 🙂
That sort of crime is too evil, even for supervillains!
he went from overflowing anger to the silent kind…it’s the silent kind thats dangerous!…where can i get a bulletproof vest before the next comic?
Silent is dangerous, unless it’s a thunderously loud fart from Moonie!
I hope he kills them all. Has he ever killed anyone? About time he does.
Has Scapula ever killed anyone? That’s a story for another day…
But let’s keep on track with this story!
You’d think life would have at least handed him a few double-ply sheets from the roll after what it just did to him.
…or that Rizz would at least give him a drink on the house. The world is cruel, ain’t it?
