SINISTER MONSTER DOOM LEGION pt.25
So that’s the end of Darkevilhelldeath-Man. How will the Sinister Monster Doom Legion fare without their fearless leader? Can Scapula take the reins and lead them on to victory? Where did Dr. Jeraukov get that dress, anyhow?
I’m sure this goes without saying, but the song Scap is getting down to is “Don’t Stop the Rock” by Freestyle. If you’ve never heard this classic you’re either not from my generation, or have no life whatsoever.
I have no idea where the idea for General Newsunce came from, other than wanting the ‘break the mold’ and have an army leader who wasn’t really like any others I could imagine. He seems to be living up to his name. Inspector Farley doesn’t seem too happy about him being around, either.
Love the smug expression. Hilarious.
Edgar may have some issues, but he know how to rock out.
I’m going to gesture to guess that the moral to this story is to breastfeed your children! Otherwise, they end up like Edgar! o.O …. flashing those babies really centered him!
…then again, the moral could be that not “gettin some” on a regular basis can turn you into a crabby evil doer! (this might explain Dick Cheney then!) o.O
Ha – one of the best victory dances ever!
Scapula cuts a mean rug! Maybe the good doctor will be impressed?! 🙂
“Deader than Joan Rivers’ facial nerves…” BWAH-HAHAHAHAHA!
I’m thinking the Robot Monster is probably not the safest place to be right about now.
Nice wrap up… the coloring is exceptionally good on this!
@Bearman I would feel pretty confident too if I defeated the bastards who bullied me…not that I’m naming any names…
@Patricia Damn right! Go to any nightclub; there’s bound to be a seething layer of drama, but it’s all drowned out by the music. Hopefully. If not, then there’s alcohol.
@jynksie Once again, Scott cuts to the Freudian undertone of the series that I had never intended but will take credit for anyway.
I don’t even want to think about Dick Cheney getting laid.
@SpilledInky You never know…if movies have taught us anything, it’s that guys who can spontaneously break into song have a better chance of winning the girls. Sometimes.
@Hoomi Don’t tell her I said that. Actually, nix that: DO TELL HER. That’s right, Joan! I’m gunning for YOU!
@Binky It’s better than being around General Newsunce. Even I hate him.
@Jerry Thanks, man! It takes forever, but I’d like to think it’s worth it.
Oh, I love that song! And now I will associate it with the death of the most evil-est and rottenest sock puppet ever to… promote evil-doing. Oh… I will miss him. Sniff.
And ‘dancing Scap’s’ expression is price-less! Love it!
@SquidRowMommy I tend to associate it with a singing robot, even though I never saw any such image (did this song have a music video?), but if you choose to mentally link it with the death of a non-singing sock-covered evil robot then I can’t stop you!
He’s ba-aa-a-ck! I can’t wait to see Scap in action (or inaction as he seems to like). Plus, that’s gonna be a fantastically-rendered explosion next week.
Unless, the shell merely bounces off the hull of the monster. I know how you like to pull a fast one on us, Aidan. 🙂
@George Buddy, you don’t know the half of it! I don’t want to give away too much, except next week’s installment probably has the best artwork I’ve ever done for this webcomic (well, aside from the pages where Jeraukov’s chest is showing).
Pull a fast one on you? Never!
Nice artwork! 🙂
@Goeber Awwwww, shucks!
So… Basically, he forgot why he took off Darkevilhellsmileyman? Or is he going to go chase her for a while while chaos ensues? I prefer the latter.
@InvaderZimFan Oh boy, if you like a good ol’ fashioned “Benny Hill” chase then you’re in for something! …actually, I can’t promise that. Just go watch “Benny Hill” and imagine him in a skeleton costume with an green sock puppet. Close enough.
Aidan, I really appreciate you stopping by CH. Your work is amazing!!! keep it up!

@Cannedham That’s Phil from Canned Ham, ladies and gentlemen! Be sure to swing by his sight for some monster-ous fun!
