…and if you’re a first-time reader who just happens to be stumbling upon this worst possible ‘entry point’ of the comic, I suggest you go back to the beginning of the story (or, hell, the series) before getting worked up.

Of course, I’d be disappointed if her didn’t ;3

Hm, clobber up the barwoman seems not to be a sly move to me. More like a good way to raise all her ‘loyal’ (i.e. that at one point or other shared some spicy information with her) customers against one. And those happen to be the whole underworld of that particular turf.
Aside from the obviousity of this trap. But Sam once enraged surly doesn’t notice.
Endearing from last comic just went to f*@%$^& up…
I bet when Aiden read me using the term “endearing” for Sunday’s strip he cackled with glee and rubbed his hands together!
….Oooooh shit.
Oh, oh, Scapie may have pushed the ” KillMeNow” button. I hope this picture was PhotoShopped or else he just burn another bridge and he didn’t have that many friends to start with.
I certainly did not see that coming. After last Sunday’s page, I assumed Scapula was just going to leave her alone, and wait for Sam to make a mistake. I keep forgetting how much he’s improved over such a short time.
Improved? If he actually beat the hell out of Rizz that’s not an improvement. The underworld is very protective of its’ reliable connections.
If it’s a ruse, then yes. Definitely improving.
Do not fprget that ol’ Scap is a master of disguise. It wwould not be difficult to slap together a Rizz costume for one of his cronies. I don’t think the new Scapula is fool enough to destroy a long-time friendship (more or less his only one) and underworld information source for revenge, given that Rizz actually came clean and then proceeded to actually try to mend fences. I’m willing to bet the late-night drinking was a pretext to get Rizz a hangover bad enough that any attempt to contact her the following morning would be thwarted, helping to preserve the illusion of her hostage status.
Well, let’s not be TOO hasty here, I think you may be giving Scapula a bit too much credit.
Oooooooh……You got me good, Aidan. I had just commented a few strips back about how easygoing Scap was being with her. Snap, I’ve underestimated that lil’ freak once again. Maybe. I dunno. Scapula is tricky enough where I don’t know when to give him credit or take it away.
*pops popcorn for all* This is gonna be goooooood.
I knew that smile was a bit too smarmey. I think ever since he’s been hypnotizing Jemini into being his better-dressed half I’ve had very reduced expectations of his scruples…
I’m going to hope it’s Scapula’s work with makeup here, because I’d like to think even the ol’ bonehead isn’t boneheaded enough to crap on about his only reliable connection. Especially the bartender. Of course, you wouldn’t need much to send Sam screaming off the deep end, would you? Hell just writing a note to this effect probably would have worked…… she isn’t exactly famed for her logical abilities and zen-like calm.
Oh shit…stuff is going down now.
If it is Rizz and not a trick, I’d hate to see the state of Scap. Unless he somehow got the jump on her.
