The Qliphoth may be rich, mighty, and murderous…but they truly are a bitchy lot. It also looks like they’re missing a member…will he miraculously show up this Sunday?

He will!! You gave the plot away. I first wondered why Scapula wanted a picture of the dead guy. Then it hit me…….. disguise….. again.
Seems a stupid thing to do though. I would simply level the place. nerve gas it, flametrower. And done.
Summon the giant Monty Python foot from the sky and squash ’em all at once. Pbbbblt!
For someone without a lot of experience with actual secret societies, your writing is dead on. The real ones are a lot like this!
Whatever experience you do have with arrogant, snobby, violent, perverted, silver-spooned, destructive, rich, terrible liars, I commend you for leveraging it well. ^_^
Good to know I can make people totally bad juuuusssst right!
You don’t need to be familiar with secret societies to know about stuck-up buttheads who think they’re several hundred times smarter than everyone else (but you CAN mock them in cartoons!).
Woah… these guys know their cyrpto creepy stuff!
Krypto is creepy stuff! C’mon, dogs are supposed to be friendly, semi-normal creatures, not flying around and shooting eye-lasers!
Seriously, is Oedipus just hard-wired to shout ‘How DARE you!’ at everything? Secondary note: the fact he never makes it a question grinds a belt-sander on my nerves. I know a guy who does that a lot with questions that always end up thrown out as accusations. It makes people sound like they have no emotional control whatsoever (which, I would assume, is the point here?).
Two reasons Oedipus resorts to that one line:
1) It’s one of the most self-righteous and condescending phrases I’ve ever heard, in that it both places the other person beneath you and accuses him or her of having wronged you in some vague way.
2) Oedipus, like a lot of other ‘fine artists’, can’t think up anything more original to say.
Well, makes sense to me. It certainly has made me want to punch him!
