Has Scapula taken on more than he can handle? We shall see, but that high-pitched screaming doesn’t instill much confidence. Be here on Sunday to find out what cruel fate awaits him!

I’m picturing the rest of the team waiting in the van, listening in via wireless microphone:
Hypnausea: Sounds like our cue.
Throgor: Nah. Give it another minute. I wanna see if he calls for his mommy.
Hypnausea: Ha! Yeah, okay, why not?
Don’t forget the constant snickering and mocking his voice (c’mon, you all know you would).
It’s all part of the scam.
Nothing like a pyramid scheme to REALLY make them evil douchebags.
Through all the pages I have known Scap, he never makes the same mistake twice. Just new ones contently. He knew he already did a mask and it failed. Plus a cult always has a way to keep track of his members. Something isn’t adding up. What are you really hiding Scap?
Good thinking! Is he prepared or has he made a new (and really big) mistake?
It’s always nice to see Scapula back in his natural element: screaming and exercising his rubber face! Can’t wait to see how this mess goes.
It’s been maybe a whole month without a silly scream! I have to meet my quota, y’know.
I have to wonder if there’s much purpose to the human sacrifice. I mean, seems pretty optional if they’re just doing it because he’s here. Most laid-back murderous cult ever! Whatever demon or god they worship’s scripture must be a real hoot.
“And then sacrifice unto me a nonbeliever. Or, y’know, have an orgy. Maybe just stand around with swords chanting, whatever. Don’t forget to fill the censers with holy mary-jane, that’s really about all. Preferably some good stock jamaican or vietnamese.”
“Um….. the scripture dictates occasional human sacrifice and lots of chanting and stuff. That’s it. The great dark lord was totally not high as a kite when he wrote this, I swear! Sacrifice and chanting, yep.”
Depends on whether or not you actually believe in all of this hullaballoo. The Qliphoth themselves do not (well, maybe Scarlett), but they do know the value of scaring their followers. A human sacrifice has no real value other than shock (and maybe disposing of certain masked spies).
Fear mongering does tend to be in the mix for most religions, doesn’t it?
He can’t be stupid enough to have thought this would have worked.
R-right?
The campaign slogan for a lot of presidential-hopefuls!
