Oooo hooo hooo… Somebody is gonna pay fer this. The one thing Scap has shown in all his days is a tendency for building upon his losses. His whole deal is like being the lord of the swamp in a Monty Python movie.
“Sure the first few castles fell over into the swamp, but the last one stayed upright!”
I think enough stones have sunk, he will make someone pay once he gives Throg and Tox a target. I just hope that the tiger Throg has isn’t trapped in an inferno for this scene.
Uh, Scap, you uh….. you left the stove on. Near the meth lab.
So, I hope he had some kind of emergency plan hammered out in case of direct assault. I mean, that’s the first thing I do when I get to a new place is immediately check out what I can use as cover, any blind angles or corners, where an attacker would have to come from, places I could establish a kill-zone, fallback points, and exits in case of fire being used to smoke me out. It drives my friends insane when I do it to their apartments!
Also things to note: where to send reinforcements, places to stash weaponry, areas vulnerable to sniping from covered locations like woods and open lots, lists of people who know about said location and my involvement with it, stress points to explode if I need to take a place out, and my personal favorite, any area I can use to vanish into, like twisting alleys, thick woods, swampy areas, waterways, etc. Hm….. am I paranoid?

The last panel has such exquisite noir to it.
So are we safely able to presume Kate called Vlad, and Vlad sent a fireteam over while Scap and company were distracted elsewhere?
I will be sorry to see him shoot her for this.
I hope Scap continues on his trip to Bad@ssdome. He is much more fun to read as a real villain than as a guy who gets kicked a lot
