How is Vlad back from the dead? Well, you longtime SCAPULA readers are probably aware of Scap’s special skills…and you’re probably also aware of his usual luck.
In other news, the next SCAPULA book collection is in the works, collecting the entire Memento Mori story arc into one big tome and completing the entire webcomic series in print form. This will possibly be another Kickstarter-funded production, although the book release date and potential campaign have yet to be determined.
For those of you who participated in the last crowd-funding (or who have just picked up SCAPULA: WORLD’S WORST VILLAIN for yourselves), please feel free to let me know what you liked, what you didn’t like (eek), what you want to see more of, or any other thoughts and suggestions. I always want to make sure you get the book you want, so comment away, ol’ chum.
Wow, that went downhill. Immediately. Maybe it’s just a robot with a bomb in it and Scap is around the corner practicing ventriloquism.
If it sounds like it came from a Wile E. Coyote cartoon, then it’s probably good enough for Scapula!
I’m going to hedge my bets he planned for this eventuality. Heck I’m going to figure he knew it would happen and this IS part of the plan. Scapula is many things, but a coward is always one. When it comes to playing criminal chess he’s usually aware of exactly what danger he’s running and his improv skills are usually up to the task.
As for what I’ve liked: the variety. I have enjoyed everything presented so far from the first meltdown after the bank heist, through the trips to theatre and movies, into the madcap plots and right to the more serious criminal drama, and even the very silly asides. One thing I always say about this strip: you’re never bored!
If there’s another, it tends to be that the commentary section is always a hoot when it gets rolling!
Also, second last panel….. two left hands? Or he’s got the most flexible fingers in HISTORY, ouch!
It’s a before-and-after drawing of snapping his fingers. I knew I should have put an arrow or a (1) and (2) next to the image.
That’s pretty clear, from the drawing. The previous hand is more transparent.
I am vindicated!
Ah. Sorry, old monitor, gets dark at times. I see it better now on my laptop.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying (and hopefully everyone else is, too…I get a little paranoid when the comments section is sparse!). We shall see soon what happens here; hopefully it won’t go “full-circle” and return to the first Scapula story (imagine if Vlad here was really Dog Doo Doug, as many readers have surmised).
…….son of…..? Doug was way more effete and poncy.

Nononono… I swear I’m not sitting around wishing that it was next Sunday already!
Aww…I am again vindicated!
My readers make me happy, so I reward them by drawing stoopud stuff!
