SINISTER MONSTER DOOM LEGION pt.13
After several months of working secretly in Adobe Flash, I’m proud to announce the first episode of the SCAPULA semi-animated series! This motion comic showcases Scapula and his fellow freaks as you’ve never seen them before: talking, screaming, fighting, all performed and animated before your very eyes!
The SCAPULA Motion Comic will debut this week on YouTube in three increments:
- Tuesday, November 30th The SICKO SIX pt.1
- Wednesday, December 1st The SICKO SIX pt.2
- Thursday, December 2nd The SICKO SIX pt.3
“But Bob, where can I see this super-awesome cartoon?”
The answer is simple (and my name isn’t Bob). To find the links to the series:
- follow SCAPULA on Twitter for tweets on where to find each episode
- or join SCAPULA on Facebook for status updates regarding the episodes.
This is a big step forward for this webcomic, so if you enjoy this animated special, please spread the word or just watch it for yourselves. The show starts on Tuesday!
Hold it. HOLLLLLLLLLLDDDDD ITT!.
I thought I was going to get to play the voice of Scapula. I have been waiting around for week for the script and now you tell me the show is already in the can. BS BS BS. Where is my agent? You’ll be hearing from my lawyers.
Man, what a double treat! I’ve been kicking myself in the head, trying to figure out how to create a decent (or indecent) motion comic. I’m proud of ya and can’t wait to see how it turns out. If it’s anything like your Scap animatic, then I know it’ll be awesome.
@Bearman Remember that “Play or Pay” contract? Should have read the fine print; it says you either get to play with yourself and get paid, whichever came first…and it looks like someone did! HAW HAW!
Uh…so, anyway…
@George We’ll just reserve judgment until the show begins. Thankfully I got Max Bialystock to finance this show; can’t got wrong with that guy!
The hackey sack line is great. Reminds me of the South Park where Stan’s dad intentionally gets testicular cancer and at the end of the episode Stan’s mom has a fur coat made out of . . . yes, that.
Oh the joy! Oh, the anticipation! THAT is just so exciting! I’m there on tuesday…
And who doesn’t need a little Bennett right now? Throw in some Sinatra and it’s a party…
@Dan “Medicinal Fried Chicken”. The funniest part of that episode was all of the guys bouncing around town with that weird music playing…you know it’s wrong, but you just can’t look away.
@squid row mommy The dame’s got CLASS! Get her a martini!
I’m just full of antici———-pation waiting for this gang of thieves to come to life! Looking forward to seeing you pull this off Master Casserly!
@jynksie Thank ya kindly, Scott. Just don’t expect any Rocky Horror dubs…well, don’t expect them THIS time around!
*I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me …
cha cha cha*
Oh sweet! It’s Tuesday! New mission – find a few measly minutes and go check out Scapula on YouTube (I’ll cut out supper if necessary) – I know it’s gonna’ be awesome! 🙂
Man, who wouldn’t go for some Tony Bennett right now?
…. said Chris for the first, last and only time in his life.
@SpilledInky Here’s hoping you were able to sacrifice a few minutes from your momentous day to witness the wee widdle cartoon show (which went live at noon…check the Twitter/Facebook, people!).
@Chris W Best not let the mafia hear you disagree…gulp!
OMG Animation! I’m jealous!!!! I must’ve been super tired last night and skipped the blog.
Where are they?!? it’s Dec 2nd and I’m not seeing any linkage to the animated you-tubes! o.O *am I the only remedial one here?!?*
Nevermind… I’m an idiot, I found the links! *sigh* …that nipple twisting in part 2… umm… o.O wow!
The show was….exquisite. I’m way proud of you, man. 🙂
Chris and Scott, what are you waiting for? Go enjoy the show!
George, very glad that you enjoyed. Gracias.
How is he smoking that??
@MariMariMarigo42 My dear reader, a magician never reveals his tricks! If we knew how that puppet could smoke, talk, and fire concussive energy beams the effect wouldn’t be nearly as shocking (or ridiculous)!
